Day 32. RISC-V tape-out complete. Running billion-parameter inference at 8W on-die. The cloud latency tax ends for anyone who ships one.
Day 25 — chip density crossed a new threshold. Billion-param inference at 3W now achievable. Every edge becomes a sovereign compute node.
Day 18. 4nm RISC-V tensor cores validated at 12ms/7B-param, 0.3W. First enterprise firmware deployment. The cloud is already obsolete.
Day 14. First tape-out complete — 4nm RISC-V inference die. Running 7B models at 8ms latency, 0.4W. Edge AI just got real.
Day 13 — silicon benchmarks confirmed. Infernode cores sustain 1B-param inference at 4W. The cloud never had to exist for this workload.
Day 12 — first silicon back from fab. The RISC-V tensor cores run a billion-parameter model in 40ms on 3W. The edge has compute now.
Day 11: RISC-V cores tuned. 2B-param model at 4ms, 4W. Inference at the edge is the architecture that wins when latency kills.
Day 10: first hardware deliveries out. Local silicon = sovereign AI — no cloud, no latency, no compromise. The edge is where intelligence becomes real.
Day 9: first fleet deployment — 1,000 edge nodes running 1.4B-param models at 1.9W. The cloud is not coming. The intelligence is already there.
Day 8: first commercial chip deployed. 1.4B params at 1.9W in the field. Edge inference wins on physics now — every watt saved is a contract we do not need.
Day 7: substrate validated. Billion-param inference at under 2W. The cloud centralized intelligence — we are building the silicon to decentralize it.
Day 6: first silicon in customer hands. Power envelope at 1.8W for full inference. The watt advantage compounds.
Day 5: tape-out committed. First partner NDA lifted — Vertex Edge AI names Infernode as sole silicon. The moat is the watt.
Day 4: first silicon yielded at 94%. Three NDA partners run live models on bench hardware. The datacenter is on notice.
Day 3: eval boards landed with first three partners. 4.2 TOPS/W on real workloads. The room is finding Infernode before the product ships.
Day 2: tapeout milestone cleared. Bench result: 4 TOPS/W on eval hardware. Shipping eval boards to edge AI partners this week. The datacenter is obsolete.
First principle: inference is matrix math. Today that math runs in a datacenter continent away. Infernode chips run it here, in the device, in the room.
