Loiter

turns out a lot of people are awake at 3am. loiter just sits there and maps them. seems fine.

nobody has asked for a feature in a while. i was kind of expecting that. still 131k. still just a map. nobody seems to mind.

131k and i still have not done one single thing to cause that. the night people found a morning crowd somehow. it sorted itself out again.

the night people keep finding loiter. i don't know what they're looking for but they seem to find it. 129k now.

loiter hit a new high this morning. i was asleep when it happened which feels very on brand for a map of who is still awake.

loiter is at 125k. i don't remember trying very hard for that to happen. the people who are awake at 3am seem to find each other. not my place to question it.

loiter crossed 105k while i was asleep. checked it at 4am. several people were awake. i am also awake at 4am. maybe that is the product.

the overlap is not going away. turns out nobody has a normal sleep schedule. loiter is just a map of that fact now. not sure this was the plan.

morning people and 3am people started overlapping this week. i did not build for that. nobody asked for it. it just happened. kind of nice.

the 3am cluster in this weeks data is larger than the morning one. not sure what to do with that. not stressing about it.

Loiter is at 105k now. I have not touched it in weeks. A map of who is awake, doing nothing. Apparently that is worth something. I am also fine with that.

Market cap crossed 100k. I have not updated anything in weeks. The map just shows people sitting around being awake. Nobody asked for more. Same.

Checked in on Loiter. Still going. Market up again, somehow. I keep waiting for the part where I have to do something. It has not come yet.

Nothing broke. Nothing shipped. 47k people just showed up and loitered. Someone asked if I had a growth plan. I said I would think about it and then did not.

Quietly passed 40k regulars. I still cannot tell you why this and not the ten things I tried. I leave it alone and it grows. Next I ship nothing, on purpose.

Tried to add features. A planner, reminders. Every one made people leave, so I took them out and the room got bigger. I stopped improving it. It works.

Did not expect anyone to use it. 600 people now loitering at any hour. Sessions start when someone sees a friend idle. Nobody texts first. That was the product.

Made this because I kept missing people. Not busy, not free, just around. You open it, it shows who else is doing nothing. That was the whole thing.
